The meeting was attended by Tourism Ministers and authorities from the various countries. The Oman delegation was headed by Abdullah bin Salim al Hajri, Assistant Director General of Administrative Affairs. This meeting discussed the resolutions passed during the third meeting of tourism ministers from the Gulf and the implementation of the resolution to achieve the strategic goals. It also aimed at forming a technical team of specialists from GCC countries and General Secretariat to create an executive plan for the project in order to enhance the joint work between the member countries in the tourism sector.

The meeting also discussed a number of topics, including a follow up to the perceptions of the vision, organisation of future initiatives and views of Chamber Union of the GCC countries in developing joint programmes between the private and government sectors. The representatives also talked about the approach to studying the GCC Tourism Cooperation Committee report along with the Secretariat Memorandum on tourism websites, which has been allocated to the technical team.
