NEW DELHI: Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, received a written message from His Majesty Sultan Qaboos dealing with means of promoting the relations between the Sultanate and India in a manner that serves the joint interests. The message was handed over by Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, when he was received by Modi in New Delhi on Monday. The two sides discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them to serve the joint interests, particularly in economic, trade and investment cooperation. The two sides also touched on several viewpoints on regional and international issues of common concern. Alawi also met Sushma Swaraj, Indian Minister of External Affairs.
