MUSCAT, May 4 -
A nursery in Muscat has been closed for frequent violations and bad services, discovered through periodical visits of children affairs’ specialists, according to the Ministry of Social Development.
Although the nursery was warned prior to the shutdown, it didn’t take any measures to fix the problems.
It is the ministry’s responsibility to oversee the nurseries and establishments meant for children’s affairs and prevent violation of rules.
According to Child Law issued as per Royal Decree No 22/2014, the child is entitled to convenient life standards that fulfil his physical, mental, psychological and social needs.
