Muscat: Suhail Bahwan Automobiles unveiled Deta Batteries an all-rounder for most modern vehicles, standard equipment and everyday driving at a special event held here. Deta Batteries is made in Germany by Exide Technologies, one of the largest manufacturers of lead-acid batteries in Europe.
Keeping in line its business growth objective, Suhail Bahwan Automobiles partnered with Exide Technologies at an exclusive event organised recently to launch Deta Batteries. The official launch ceremony held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel was attended by Mr Federico Montessori (Senior Director Europe and Middle East), Mr Madhusudan Chari (Sales Director MEA), Mr Rajib Chakraborty (Country Sales Manager), for Exide Technologies, Mr Ahmed Bahwan (Chairman, Bahwan International Group Holding), Mr Divyendu Kumar (Managing Director, Bahwan International Group Holding) and Senior representatives from Bahwan International Group Holding LLC.
Ahmed Bahwan, Chairman, Bahwan International Group Holding said, “We are delighted to enter into this partnership with Exide Technologies. The brand Deta was founded in 1949 in Germany and was subsequently acquired by Exide Technologies in 1997.
The brand has a very strong presence and is distributed in more than 60 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
