MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidy, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, received in his office at Mu’askar Bait Al Falaj on Sunday Lt Gen Michael X Garrett, Commanding General of the US Army Central Command. The two sides reviewed fields of the existing military cooperation between the Sultanate and the United State and discussed several matters of common concern.

Lt Gen Ahmed bin Harith al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), also received Lt Gen Michael Garrett his delegation. The meeting exchanged viewpoints and discussed a number of matters of common concern between the armed forces in the two friendly countries. Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), too received Lt Gen Michael Garrett and his delegation.
