MUSCAT: For the seventh consecutive year, Injaz Oman organised a two-day Student Companies Exhibition, which was held at Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah. Forty-eight of the 93 student companies participating in the programme in 2018 had joined the exhibition. Their innovative products and development ideas covered five areas: environment, industry, tourism, energy and services. The exhibition witnessed a remarkable presence and was highly appreciated by the participating companies of new and innovative products. The Student Companies programme offers a unique learning experience for undergraduate students to prepare and motivate them to enter the labour market with confidence and to help them establish their own companies.

The programme aims to enrich the students’ performance and reduce the gap between academic knowledge and the practical skills, which are required by the labour market and also the investors. The programme also aims to help the students explore their potential and identify the diverse opportunities in the labour market. Injaz Oman was founded in 2006. The organisation provides vital programmes that contribute to the development of young people’s skills. It also empowers and enhances their innovative and leadership abilities.
