W Muscat to open soon, conducts recruitment drive

Muscat: The W Muscat hotel developed under Omran, which will soon open for the guests, is expected to bring new energy to the country’s hotel scene, offering guests and locals alike the chance to soak in the W lifestyle, the company said.

Located in the Shatti al Qurum Beach Area and just a short drive from Muscat International Airport, it will offer 279 guest rooms and suites.

W Muscat recently hosted a unique recruitment drive with a casting day that attracted over 200 Omani talents looking to work within the hospitality sector.

Casting Day is a series of events to recruit talent, who embody the passion and drive to deliver the brand’s Whatever/Whenever service promise. Omanis of all ages and backgrounds were welcomed to take part in this ‘first of its kind’ recruitment event which included being interviewed on a bright blue W branded Bus, purposefully transformed into a vibrant space exuding the W Hotels vibe. The Casting Day presented a live DJ performance, popcorn station, candy machine, and limitless energy drinks to further power the excitement and amp up the vibe setting the tone for what is to come.
