MUSCAT, JAN 19 - Failing to adhere to health practices promotes breeding and spread of diseases, Muscat Municipality said as it urged the local community to maintain their surroundings clean. In a statement, it requested the people to support the ongoing campaign by getting rid of any pools of stagnant water within house premises and outside.
The Ministry of Health (MoH) and Muscat Municipality recently announced the continuation of the campaign for the eradication of the Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes in Bausher. The minister said in a statement that the first phase of the campaign covered nearly 20,000 places in the Seeb area and had been very successful. “Such campaigns will not succeed without the cooperation of all stakeholders.”
