Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik on Wednesday issued a Royal Decree No 41/ 2021 appointing non-resident ambassadors.
Article (1) appoints Dr Ahmed Salim Mohammed Ba'omar, the Sultanate's Ambassador to the Italian Republic as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of San Marino.
Article (2) appoints Saleh Sulaiman Ahmed al Harthy, the Sultanate's Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Malawi.
Article (3) appoints Dr Mohammed Said Khalifa al Busaidi, the Sultanate's Ambassador to Japan as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to New Zealand.
Article (4) appoints Saleh Mohammed Ahmed al Saqri, the Sultanate's Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
Article (5) appoints Sheikh Dr Abdullah Salim Hamad al Harthy, the Sultanate's Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands as extraordinary and plenipotentiary non-resident Ambassador to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Article (6) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue. --ONA
