MUSCAT: The Supervisory Committee for Digital Transformation at the Ministry of Interior held its second meeting of 2025, chaired by Sayyid Khalifa bin Al Murdas al Busaidy, Secretary-General of Governorates Affairs at the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Committee.
The meeting discussed several agenda items, most notably tracking progress rates in digital transformation projects under the current operational plan, reviewing implementation challenges and assessing the stages of various technical initiatives.
The committee also examined the results of the first semi-annual evaluation of excellence in government digital transformation and addressed several topics related to developing e-service systems and enhancing digital efficiency within the ministry. These efforts support the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 and advance the transition towards a smart government. - ONA
