MUSCAT: Asyad Group, Oman’s global integrated logistics provider, has successfully partnered with Oman Environmental Services Holding Company (be’ah) aimed at enhancing sustainable logistics solutions in the region. This partnership underscores both parties’ commitment to operational excellence, environmental stewardship, supporting and empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and enhancement of in-country value (ICV) under the Oman Investment Authority (OIA) umbrella.

Dr Said al Touqi, Design and Engineering Manager at be’ah, stated: “We are proud of this partnership, which contributes to implementing major environmental projects in line with the best practices. Undoubtedly, our collaboration with Asyad enables us to provide comprehensive solutions for transporting essential materials to build modern engineering landfills, enhancing waste management efficiency and protecting the environment.” This project also involved local SMEs for material transportation, enabling Asyad to not only reinforce its dedication to (ICV), but also boost SMEs’ contribution to national economic development, and positioning Oman as a global logistics hub.

Juma al Maskari, Asyad Logistics Director, said: “We partnered closely with be’ah, leveraging our expertise to provide strategic advice on INCOTERMS that delivered substantial cost savings and operational improvements. By aligning our practical solutions with their goals, we ensured the seamless and efficient execution of this critical project, setting a benchmark for collaborative success.” “This project showcases our ability to deliver innovative and cost-effective logistics solutions while supporting Oman’s broader economic vision and enhancing operational capabilities and contribute to a sustainable future for Oman,” continued Juma al Maskari.

By integrating sustainable logistics practices, Asyad Group and be’ah are not only reinforcing their roles as leaders in their respective fields, but also aligning their efforts with Oman Vision 2040, aiming to position the country as a global trade hub.
