Dhofar unveils public satisfaction result

MUSCAT: The National Centre for Statistics and Information, in collaboration with the Dhofar Governor’s Office, has announced the results of the third cycle of the public satisfaction survey on services provided in the Dhofar Governorate.


This initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of services and improve the standard of living for citizens and residents in the region.


According to the findings, some service sectors achieved high satisfaction levels, reflecting significant progress, while other areas highlighted the need for further development. The key results are as follows:


E-Services and Municipality Permits topped the list with a satisfaction rate of 76 percent, underscoring substantial advancements in digital transformation and streamlined procedures. Parks and Public Gardens recorded a satisfaction rate of 71 percent, demonstrating the efforts to improve recreational facilities. Public Cleanliness and Health achieved a satisfaction rate of 70 percent, reflecting compliance with health and cleanliness standards.


The Overall Satisfaction Rate was maintained at an acceptable level of 70 percent. Development Efforts in the Governorate registered a satisfaction rate of 68 per cent, indicating the need for greater focus on developmental projects. Finally, Market Monitoring and Inspection achieved a satisfaction rate of 65 per cent, marking one of the areas requiring significant improvement.
