Dar Al Atta’a Association has been awarded the Sanabel Award for Social Responsibility 2024 in the category of 'Best Community Initiatives in Orphan Care in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'. The honour coincided with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Sanabel Charity Association.
Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad al Khalifa presented the awards in Manama recently. This recognition comes as an acknowledgment of Dar Al Atta’a’s pioneering efforts in delivering innovative and sustainable initiatives to support orphans and enhance their quality of life. The award was presented during a ceremony held in the capital city, Manama, in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On this occasion, Maryam bint Issa al Zadjaliyah, Founder and Chairperson of Dar Al Atta’a Association, expressed her pride and gratitude for this achievement, which reflects the association’s commitment to its humanitarian mission. She highlighted the association’s dedication to developing specialised programmes that address the needs of orphans and contribute to their empowerment under the Family Support Programme. This programme, described as the heartbeat of the association, aims to assist underprivileged families and empower them sustainably.
She emphasised that this recognition strengthens the association’s sense of responsibility towards the community and motivates continued efforts to promote social solidarity and innovation in serving vulnerable groups. Al Zadjaliyah also extended her heartfelt thanks to all supporters and partners who contributed to this success.
The Sanabel Award for Social Responsibility is a prestigious regional platform that celebrates exceptional initiatives in orphan care, highlighting impactful and sustainable efforts to improve the lives of orphans across the GCC.
