Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik led the farewell party at the Royal Airport for King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who concluded his two-day state visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
His Majesty the Sultan whished the King safe return home.
Along with His Majesty the Sultan, King Hamad was seen off by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen Sultan bin Mohammed al Numani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidi, Minister of Interior (Head of the Mission of Honour), Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Sayyid Faisal bin Harib al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Bahrain, Dr Juma bin Ahmed al Kaabi, Ambassador of Bahrain to Oman and members of the mission of honour.
During his visit, the King of Bahrain was accompanied by a high-ranking official delegation.
The session reviewed the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries and means of promoting them in various spheres in a manner that serves interests of the two peoples and meets their aspirations. The two leaders also exchanged views on situations in the region, as well as the regional and international developments. They also exchanged talks on matter of mutual interest.
