The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week - the UAE’s initiative to accelerate sustainable development - has announced its key partners for the 2025 edition. Under the auspices of Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, ADSW 2025 will be hosted by Masdar and take place from January 12 to 18 in Abu Dhabi. It will bring together global leaders to advance impactful sustainability initiatives.
The distinguished partners for ADSW 2025 include the Department of Energy (DoE) as the principal partner, ADNOC and World-Wide Technology (WWT) as strategic partners, Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and EMSTEEL Group as associate partners, and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) as the opening ceremony associate partner. These partnerships will be instrumental in fostering cross-sector collaboration and accelerating sustainable systems transformation.
With the theme ‘The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress,’ ADSW 2025 aims to leverage collective intelligence through dynamic discussions and dedicated platforms.
The event will bring together government leaders, industry experts, entrepreneurs, youth, and other stakeholders to fast-track sustainable development and promote economic, social, and environmental advancement. The UAE’s visionary leadership will be highlighted, showcasing its ability to drive global change and shape a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient future.
Dr Abdulla Humaid al Jarwan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy, emphasized the significance of ADSW, stating: “Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week reflects our commitment to addressing global sustainability challenges and creating growth opportunities.
By transforming the energy sector through progressive policies and regulations, the Department of Energy is setting global benchmarks. Collective action is essential for accelerating energy transformation and ensuring a prosperous, sustainable future.”
