MUSCAT: The Omani Women's Association in Muscat has inaugurated the 'Al Mazyouna' Exhibition, a four-day event held in the Grand Hall at 'The Village' in Muscat Governorate. The exhibition aims to empower productive families by providing them with a platform to market their products, fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship and initiative among Omani women.
Zainab bint Maqbool Al Balushi, Head of the Entrepreneurship Committee at the Omani Women’s Association, highlighted the importance of the event in supporting small and medium enterprises managed by productive families. She emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in driving economic and social growth while creating opportunities for direct interaction between producers and consumers, thereby opening new avenues for home-based businesses.
The exhibition features over 50 participants from diverse sectors, including clothing, abayas, incense, luxury goods, handicrafts, traditional crafts, and local cuisine. This vibrant showcase reflects Omani creativity and strengthens national identity. The event has already garnered significant attention, drawing a large crowd on its opening day.
