Al MAZYOUNA: The Al Mazunah Free Zone, affiliated with the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), is making significant efforts to enhance the national economy by playing a pivotal role in connecting the Omani market with regional and international markets. This creates new opportunities for local companies to export their products and services and strengthens prospects for partnerships with investors from around the world.

Eng Ahmed bin Khamis al Kasbi, Director-General of the Al Mazunah Free Zone, stated that Madayn will organise the Al Mazunah Economic Exhibition and Forum on January 19, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI). The event aims to promote commercial cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen.

It will provide an exceptional platform for local and international companies to explore investment opportunities, build strategic partnerships and expand into regional markets.

In a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA), Al Kasbi noted that the forum is an important event targeting local and international institutions and companies. It seeks to provide an ideal platform for the business sector to explore investment opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and expand regional markets. The event will attract service companies, factories, brand representatives, car dealerships, import and export firms, logistics companies, food product suppliers, and small and medium enterprises.

He added that the forum is part of the Al Mazunah Free Zone's efforts to strengthen its position as an economic and strategic hub connecting Omani and Yemeni markets. It offers companies an opportunity to showcase their services and products, facilitate access to the Yemeni market, and expand in the automotive sector.

Al Kasbi also highlighted that with the growing importance of the Al Mazunah Free Zone as an economic and commercial centre, this forum presents a unique opportunity for traders and companies to explore the business environment in the region and benefit from the facilities offered by the free zone. Additionally, the event allows traders and shoppers from the Republic of Yemen to participate in the exhibition without needing a visa, requiring only an electronic permit.
