One of the key priorities of the 2025 budget is the construction of 20 new government schools across the Sultanate. In addition, the Ministry of Finance plans to tender 22 new projects for the construction of more schools, further underscoring the government’s strategic focus on expanding educational infrastructure.

Additionally, the Oman Pioneers Program, which supports 150 outstanding students on five-year scholarships abroad, remains a key initiative. Recognizing the growing demand for higher education, the government has also allocated funds for the construction of additional buildings and halls at branches of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Sohar and Ibri. These expansions aim to improve the capacity and quality of higher education institutions, ensuring students have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
