Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace on Wednesday to Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group.
The audience discussed a set of economic and developmental topics. It also explored various aspects of cooperation between the departments concerned in the Sultanate of Oman and the World Bank Group.
Additionally, the audience reviewed the march of latest economic developments in the Sultanate of Oman. It also discussed means of expanding prospects of partnership with the World Bank Group particularly at the level of exchanging expertise, sharing knowledge, developing capabilities of national competencies and means of supporting the World Bank’s role and initiatives in the region.
The audience was attended by Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance.
