The latest editions of Al Ain Assahira and Al Shurti Al Sageer, two magazines issued by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) at regular intervals, are a tribute to His Majesty and the people of the Sultanate of Oman. While the former provides a comprehensive overview of the ROP in recent months, the latter contains stories, moral guidance and education on Oman’s rules and regulations intended for children. Al Ain Assahira covers various topics related to the ROP. Notably, it features a lead story titled ‘His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, presides over the military parade at Al Sumoud Camp’.
This issue also includes coverage of His Majesty’s visit to the Medical City for Military and Security Services and his patronage of the opening of Medical City Hospital for Military and Security Services - Muscat. It also provides a comprehensive coverage of the Second Scientific Conference of the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences, along with press interviews and other police and national articles. Al Shurti Al Sageer magazine, now in its 66th edition, was also issued. It contains several interesting topics aimed at children, emphasising the principles of safety and the avoidance of dangers.
Both magazines are distributed among ministries, some private companies, and are available for subscription on the ROP website.
