AL MUSANNAH: As part of its commitment to equipping Omani youth with essential skills for the labour market, the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Al Musannah recently concluded a series of training workshops focused on CV writing, personal interviews and IQ test preparation. These sessions, led by Eng Ismail al Shukaili, Talent Acquisition Specialist at Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), spanned six days in November and December 2024, benefiting over 180 students, graduates and trainees.

The workshops offered participants practical insights into crafting professional CVs to effectively showcase their skills and experiences. They also provided strategies to excel in personal interviews, boosting candidates’ confidence and helping them stand out to potential employers.

The participants praised the workshops for their interactive nature and valuable guidance, citing the opportunity to engage directly with Eng Al Shukaili as a highlight. Personalised advice and hands-on practice made the sessions particularly impactful.
