While traffic flows steadily into Al Qurum Natural Park, visitors are soaking in the cool weather and engaging outdoor activities. “We came prepared with cash for tickets, only to learn that payments were card-only. Luckily, a kind stranger helped us use their card,” shared a young festival goer.

For sports fans, Muscat Nights festival doesn’t disappoint.
The MENA Cup Drift Championship drew crowds at the Oman Automobile Association (OAA) on Friday, with more action on Saturday. Beach activities at Sur Al Hadid and cooking competitions at Al Qurum Natural Park also added to the weekend's excitement.
The events of Muscat Nights will be held at Al Naseem Public Park, Wadi Al Khoudh, Seeb Beach - Sur Al Hadid, Oman Automobile Association, Al Qurum Natural Park and Al Amerat Public Park between December 23 and January 21. At Al Naseem Public Park, there will be fireworks, car drifts, laser shows, a land of horror, a carnival, a consumer fair, theatre performances and a heritage village. Wadi Al Khoudh will have mountain walking treks, an SUV challenge, sports activities, a trampoline and a zipline. A wide variety of activities will be held on at Sur Al Hadid, such as food stalls, games, beach volleyball, a marine heritage village, an international sculpture competition, giant chess, fire shows, musical shows and marine arts. Oman Automobile Association will include the city carnival, Muscat Billiards and Snooker Championship, and karting championship among others. Al Amerat Public Park will host electric games, a children's car track, theatre and carnival shows, a consumer exhibition and a heritage village.
Al Qurum Natural Park will host laser lighting shows around the lake, theatre performances, food festivals, a carnival, a flower festival, drone shows, an equestrian championship and a global village. The festival this year will have some new features, including the return of some of the popular events such as the Food Festival and a pavilion represented by the embassies of various countries.
