Muscat: Rashid Jaber, Oman national team manager, on Monday, exuded confidence that the team will be able to win its match against Qatar.
"We have confidence in ourselves and our players. The Qatari team is the Asian champion and has good players, but the Gulf Cup tournament is different," he said.
They will try to include Salah al Yahyaei in tomorrow’s match as he is important to address some of our concerns, he said.
The coach said that Abdel Salam Al-Shukaili was not bad in his first international match, especially in an opening match played under pressure.
