MUSCAT: Al Seeb continued its stellar performance in the Omani Volleyball League (OVL) with a convincing 3-0 win over Masirah in the Second round. The match took place on Friday evening at the Al Amal Club Complex.


In the first set, Al Seeb started strong, relying on quick attacks and powerful serves, closing it out 25-20 despite Masirah's attempts to fight back. Al Seeb extended its dominance in the second set with solid defence and varied offensive plays, winning comfortably 25-16. The third set showcased Al Seeb's teamwork and ability to capitalise on Masirah's defensive lapses, sealing the match with another 25-16 score.


This victory put Al Seeb at the top of the league table with 6 points, while Masirah remained in seventh place with no points.


Al Bashayer Triumphs Over Sohar in a Hard-Fought Match Al Bashayer achieved a crucial 3-0 victory over Sohar in an exciting match at the Al Amal Club Complex.


Al Bashayer dominated the first set 25-16, capitalising on Sohar's defensive errors. They built on their momentum in the second set with strong serves and decisive attacks, claiming a commanding 25-11 win. The third set was closely contested, with Sohar pushing hard for a comeback, but Al Bashayer held firm to clinch the set 26-24 after a thrilling finish.

With this win, Al Bashayer joined Al Seeb at the top of the standings with 6 points, while Sohar remained fifth with 3 points.


Al Salam Overwhelms Saham in Straight Sets Al Salam delivered a commanding performance, defeating Saham 3-0 in a match held at the Sohar Sports Complex.


From the outset, Al Salam asserted control, winning the first set 25-14 with strong serves and precise attacks. They dominated the second set 25-6 as Saham struggled to organise defensively. In the final set, Al Salam maintained their superiority, wrapping up the match with a 25-11 win.


This victory moved Al Salam to third place with 5 points, while Saham remained last with no points.


Majees Outlasts Al Shabab in a Competitive Match Majees emerged victorious over Al Shabab with a 3-1 win in a thrilling encounter at the Sohar Sports Complex.


Majees took the first set 25-20 and narrowly claimed the second 25-23, benefiting from Al Shabab's defensive errors. Al Shabab fought back to win the third set 25-23 with a strong defensive display. However, Majees regained control in the fourth set, winning 25-19 to seal the match.


With this win, Majees climbed to fourth place with 4 points, while Al Shabab remained sixth without any points.
