MUSCAT: Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Governor Faisal Karim Kundi met Muscat resident Syed Shaandar Ali Shah Bukhari and appreciated his philanthropical services for the Pakistani diaspora and other nationalities residing in the Sultanate of Oman.
Bukhari has been instrumental in repatriating Pakistani prisoners home by arranging for their air tickets without any official support, which is a herculean task but with the support of his family, friends and community members he has been helping and assisting the destitute countryman as a good samaritan.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi presented Shaandar Bukhari with a letter of appreciation for his commendable efforts towards the welfare and well-being of the distressed and fir carrying forward his late father Syedzada Sakhawat Ali Shah Bukhari's welfare mission and legacy, Gov. assured him of all the support from KP Government and the Government of Pakistan.
The embassy of Pakistan has also appointed Shaandar Bukhari as their honorary representative in Oman to help assist destitute countrymen and appreciated his efforts.
