MUSCAT: The National Cybersecurity Industry Programme has estimated the value of the Omani cybersecurity market at around $50 million, with a projected annual growth rate of 24 per cent to reach $58 million in 2024. Furthermore, Omani companies are expected to spend approximately $225 million annually on cybersecurity by 2025. Oman is stepping up to the challenge of building a secure and resilient digital future.
The 12th Global Edition of CYSEC Summit and Awards, to be held at the Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Ghala Muscat, will reinforce the Sultanate of Oman’s commitment to cybersecurity excellence and align with Oman Vision 2040, which prioritises digital transformation as a cornerstone of its national development.
This prestigious event, organised by CYSEC Global, is set to host over 120 cybersecurity experts, policymakers and thought leaders from across the globe, making it a significant milestone in the region’s cybersecurity journey. The summit will be graced by VVIP guests of honour, including Bader al Salehi, Director-General of Oman National CERT and Head of ITU Regional Cybersecurity Center, and Dr Saud al Shoeili, Director-General of ICT Policies and Governance at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.
