Brussels: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in Brussels on Monday, on a three-day state visit to the Kingdom of Belgium.
Upon the arrival of His Majesty the Sultan at Brussels Military Airport (Melsbroek Air Base), a welcoming musical piece was played as he descended the ramp.
At the foot of the ramp, His Majesty the Sultan was received by Tinne Van der Straeten, Minister of Energy, some Belgian officials and members of the Omani embassy in the Kingdom of Belgium.
After that, His Majesty the Sultan proceeded to the main vehicle, passing between two rows of the Belgian Royal Guard of Honour.
After that, the motorcade of His Majesty the Sultan, surrounded by a group of motorcycles, left Brussels Military Airport heading to his venue of residence in the Royal Castle of Laeken.
