Muscat: Northwesterly winds continue to be active on Saturday, accompanied by a rise in sea waves on the coasts of Musandam Governorate and the coasts of the Sea of Oman, in addition to rising dust and a decrease and decrease in temperatures.
Low temperatures of 10.8°C were reported in Saiq, 17°C in Haima, and 17.2°C in Ibri and Liwa.
Northwesterly winds are affecting parts of the governorates of Musandam, Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, Al Wusta, and Dhofar during the period between November 28 and December 2, which will also see a witness drop in temperature.
As the sea waves on the coasts of Musandam and the Sea of Oman reach a maximum height of 2 to 2.5 meters, Oman Met warned against going to the beach and engaging in marine activities during this period.
There will be chances of dust and dirt rising in the desert and exposed areas may lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility.
