MUSCAT: Only a week is left for the Muscat Nights 2024, which will begin on December 23 and continue until January 21, 2025.
Organized by Muscat Municipality, the Muscat Nights this year promises to be different and on a large scale in venues across the breadth and length of the city.
The festival will span multiple venues across the capital, including Al Qurum Natural Park, Al Amerat Public Park, Al Naseem Public Park, the Oman Automobile Association, Al Hail Beach, Wadi Al Khoudh, and the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC). Each location is tailored to host unique attractions, ensuring accessibility and variety for all visitors.
Key highlights of Muscat Nights 2024:
Over 700 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and enterprising families will showcase their products and services, while more than 500 individuals will assist in the festival’s organization.
Al Qurum Natural Park will host the visually stunning Flower Festival and an engaging Food Festival, featuring live cooking demonstrations, competitions, and culinary workshops.
A vibrant cultural showcase where countries will present their traditions, cuisines, and crafts, offering a unique opportunity to explore global cultures in one place.
Drone light shows, laser displays, and equestrian events will captivate visitors nightly, while theatrical performances will add a cultural and artistic flair to the festival.
Heritage Villages, amusement rides, children’s car circuits, and hybrid shows blending live performance with digital technology will keep all age groups entertained.
Wadi Al Khoudh will host ziplining, mountain biking, off-road vehicle challenges, and hiking trails, catering to adventure enthusiasts.
Sor Al Hadeed Beach will offer beach soccer, volleyball, graffiti art displays, and fire performances, ensuring entertainment by the sea.
The Oman Automobile Association will feature karting competitions, drift championships, and arena fights.
