Muscat: The Youth and Human Resources Committee of Majlis A'Shura Council discussed several topics in its agenda, including employment issues for laid-off workers and job seekers and the Ministry of Labor’s key initiatives. Additionally, the committee reviewed its report on a proposal to implement remote work systems.
The meeting discussed hosting specialists from the National Employment Program and explored solutions for integrating graphic design graduates into the labor market.
The discussions also matter, such as requests for an 80% retirement exception for individuals laid off from the private sector and a proposal regarding including service years from the Ministry of Defense into the Social Protection Fund.
