MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, received a phone call from Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State, on Friday. The two ministers exchanged views on developments in the region, especially in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen, stressing their commitment to achieving a just peace through the two-state solution as the only way to sustain security and stability in the region.
Sayyid Badr stressed the importance of continuing the political and diplomatic efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and end the suffering of civilians.
They praised the existing cooperative relations and ways to enhance them in the service of common interests, in support of common strategic goals, and in overcoming obstacles and challenges for the benefit of regional stability and security.
