MUSCAT: The Supreme Judicial Council held its fifth meeting of the year on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan al Busaidy, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council.


The meeting addressed various topics related to judicial work, its organisation, the development of laws and the enhancement of judicial services.


During the meeting, Sayyid Mohammed highlighted the progress of the Omani judiciary and its pivotal role in enabling the judiciary to fulfil its duties in establishing a just and lawful state. He also underscored the importance of achieving qualitative advancement in judicial development across all areas to meet the expectations of litigants and ensure a fair judiciary that delivers rights to their rightful owners. — ONA
