Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has conferred medals on a number of their Highnesses and Excellencies at Al Barakah Palace on the occasion of the country's celebration of the 54th National Day, and in appreciation of their role in performing their national duty.
His Majesty the Sultan bestowed the First Oman Order on His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; and His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham al Said.
His Majesty the Sultan granted the Second Class Oman Civil Order on His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Asaad al Said, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman (CBO), and His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar; Dr. Hamad bin Said al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Dr. Khamis bin Saif al Jabri, Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, Nasser bin Khamis al Jashmi, Head of the Tax Authority; Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, Dr. Khalfan bin Said al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Eng. Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Said bin Mohammed al Saqri, Minister of Economy. Qais bin Mohammed al Yousuf, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Dr. Laila bint Ahmed al Najjar, Minister of Social Development; Dr. Mahad bin Saeed Baowin, Minister of Labour; Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser al Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense; Eng.
