Muscat—His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, issued a special pardon to 174 prisoners, including expatriates, convicted in various cases.
According to the Royal Oman Police (ROP), the royal pardon coincides with the 54th National Day and is in consideration of the families of these prisoners.
