MUSCAT: Federal Minister of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, conferred a 'Certificate of Appreciation' upon Oman resident Syed Shaandar Ali Shah Bukhari for his philanthropic and commendable social welfare services for destitute expatriates, including Pakistanis residing in the Sultanate of Oman.
Hussain praised Bukhari for his work as an unsung good Samaritan, representing both Oman and Pakistan without official support. He noted that such individuals play a crucial role in strengthening the social fabric of both societies.
The commendation ceremony took place in the Minister's office in Islamabad.
Hussain expressed his best wishes and appreciation for Bukhari's efforts, calling him a pride of Pakistan and assuring him of their support for his noble causes.
Shaandar Bukhari is the son of the late Honourable Syedzada Sakhawat Ali Shah Bukhari, who was a well-known figure for social welfare among the expatriate community in Oman.
