Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, will preside over the military parade that will be held on Monday, at the military parade ground at Al Samoud Camp by the Sultan’s Special Force on the occasion of the celebration of the 54th National Day.
The military parade will be attended by units representing the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), the Royal Guard of Oman (RGO), the Sultan's Special Force, the Royal Oman Police (ROP), and the Royal Court Affairs (RCA), in addition to the joint and mounted military music bands.
The celebration will be attended by His Majesty the Sultan, the Ministers, Advisors, the Chairmen of the State Council and the Majlis A'Shura, the Commanders of the Sultan's Armed Forces and other military and security agencies, the heads of diplomatic missions of countries accredited to the Sultanate of Oman, the members of the State Council, Majlis A'Shura, undersecretaries, governors, judges, members of the Public Prosecution, ambassadors, Walis and several Sheikhs and dignitaries.
The celebration will also be attended by the military attachés of the embassies of sisterly and friendly countries in the Sultanate of Oman, a number of retired commanders and senior military and security officers, a number of officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel of the Sultan's Armed Forces and the Royal Guard of Oman, and other military and security agencies in the country.
