MUSCAT: The Board of Trustees of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies at Bait Al Falaj on Wednesday held its annual meeting under the chairmanship of HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
The meeting was attended by HH Sayyid Dr Fahd bin Al Julanda al Said, Vice-Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al Busaidy, Foreign Minister, Lt Gen Hasan bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General for Police and Customs, Dr Rahma bint Ibrahim al Mahrouqiyah, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Dr Said bin Mohammed al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Maj Gen Sulaiman Khalid al Zakwani, Secretary-General of Military Affairs at the Royal Office, Maj Gen Hamid bin Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies (ASDS), Commodore Khalid bin Amer al Salti, Director General of Studies and Academic Affairs at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies (the meeting’s rapporteur).
At the outset of the meeting, HH Sayyid Shihab welcomed the board members, wishing that the meeting comes up with fruitful results that serve the academy’s objectives and mission.
