Muscat: Uday bin Hilal al Maawali, Head of the Medical City for Military and Security Services (MCMSC), received Chadi Asaad, Associate Director of Partnerships, Development and Innovation at the University of Ottawa, Canada.
During the meeting, a set of topics in the medical and healthcare fields were discussed.
As part of the visit, the Medical City for Military and Security Services signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Ottawa, Canada.
The MoU was signed by Ahmed bin Musallam al Rawas, Assistant to the Head of the Medical City for Military and Security Services for Administrative and Human Resources Affairs, and Chadi Asaad, Associate Director of Partnerships, Development and Innovation at the University of Ottawa, Canada.
The memorandum of understanding aims to establish a general framework that covers several main areas, including enhancing cooperation and exchanging scientific information and expertise.
Through this cooperation, the Medical City and the University of Ottawa will be able to exchange specialised knowledge in the fields of healthcare, in addition to expanding the scope of training in the field of exchanging training and professional experiences to improve the efficiency of medical personnel, in addition to organising scientific forums and joint seminars that enhance the exchange of advanced ideas and visions on the latest technologies and sciences in the health sector. — ONA
