The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth (MoCSY), won gold medal at the level of countries participating in the 36th International Biennale of Black and White Photography, while photographer Hatem bin Dhahi al Rashidi won bronze medal at the individual level with his photo entitled 'The Camel’s Rise.' A ceremony was held in the Indian city of Jaipur on Monday to honour the winning countries. This event was held by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) every two years at the level of the member states of the federation.
