CAIRO: The Sultanate of Oman will assume the vice-presidency of the Arab Parliament after Said bin Hamad al Saadi, Deputy Chairman of Majlis Ash’shura, won majority votes in the elections held for the position, on Saturday.
The results of the voting process were announced during the procedural session of the first session of the fourth legislative term of the Arab Parliament which was held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo to elect the president, deputies, and the heads of the standing committees and their deputies. — ONA
