KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Thursday signed 6 bilateral agreements in the field of air transport with the Republic of Uganda, the Republic of Seychelles, the Republic of Suriname, the Republic of Chile, the Republic of Chad and Australia.
The agreements were signed during the ICAO Air Services Negotiation (ICAN2024) events that are hosted by the Ministry of Transport of Malaysia during the period from October 21 to 25.
The agreements aim to regulate operational and technical aspects in the field of regulating air transport services between Oman and other countries.
Further, the agreements were signed from the Omani side by Eng Naif bin Ali al Abri, Chairman of the CAA. — ONA
