The Omani Lawyers Association (OLA), in collaboration with the Board of Directors of the Lawyers Association, organised a joint dialogue session on the professional challenges faced by lawyers.
The session took place in the presence of Dr Hamad bin Hamdan al Rubaie, Chairman of the Association, members of the Board of Directors, and lawyers at various levels of litigation at the Association’s headquarters in Al Sanhouri Library in Airport Heights.
Dr Al Rubaie discussed many of the professional challenges that the association must address in partnership with lawyers to enhance the legal profession. He also highlighted the achievements and efforts made by the association in recent years.
Dr Said bin Suleiman al Raisi, Vice-President of the Association for Professional Affairs, elaborated on the most significant challenges facing the legal profession, their causes and strategies to advance the profession.
He also explained the tools used by the Board of Directors to tackle various challenges and develop the legal profession.
The Board of Directors expressed their desire for increased participation from members of association, individuals and institutions to help bring hope back to those in need and their families.
