AL AWABI: The Ministry of Health (MoH), represented by the Directorate General of Health Services in the Al Batinah South Governorate, celebrated the opening of the new expansion of the Al Awabi Health Centre in the Wilayat of Al Awabi on Sunday.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr Said bin Harib al Lamki, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health for Health Affairs, along with several other distinguished officials.
Dr Yousef bin Mohammed al Farsi, Director General of Health Services in Al Batinah South Governorate, emphasised that the expansion is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare services and address the needs of the local community. The newly expanded facilities include 8 additional clinics and advanced service facilities, equipped with cutting-edge medical technology to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
He further highlighted that the expansion aligns with the government’s commitment to sustainable health development, aiming to provide comprehensive and high-quality healthcare to all members of the community. The development is also a response to the growing population in the Wilayat and the increasing demand for essential medical services. — ONA
