Muscat: The eighth edition of the Al Bashayer Festival for Purebred Arabian Camel Racing 2025 will be held at Al Bashayer Square in the Wilayat of Adam from February 10 to 15. The annual festival is considered one of the most important sporting events held in the Sultanate of Oman, attracting a large number of camel owners and trainers from across the GCC countries.

The Al Bashayer annual event is supported by His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan.

The Al Bashayer Camel Festival 2025 will take place over six days with Oman and GCC participants, and the Al Bashayer Square Committee for Arabian Camels will soon reveal the details of the eighth edition of the festival.

During the seventh edition of the festival, which continued for six days with Omani and GCC participants, competitors took part in 74 rounds across different categories to win valuable prizes, including 20 cars and 15 trophies, such as cups and golden and silver swords.
