MUSCAT: Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, held a meeting yesterday with a delegation of French businessmen aimed at attracting foreign investments and highlighting Oman’s investment environment. The discussions focused on enhancing economic ties between Oman and France, exploring opportunities for collaboration and partnerships with French companies.
Juhaina bint YousefaAl Balushi, Investment Specialist at the Ministry, delivered a presentation to the delegation, showcasing the incentives Oman offers to foreign investors. The presentation emphasized the advantages of Oman's special economic zones, free zones, and investment prospects across various sectors.
The French delegation, representing industries such as energy, transportation, tourism, infrastructure, water, waste treatment, urban planning, events, and entertainment, will also meet with several Omani officials and business leaders to discuss partnership opportunities and the potential for establishing their businesses in Oman.
The meeting was attended by Nabil Hajlawi, French Ambassador to Oman, alongside ministry officials. — ONA
