Muscat, October 1
The official opening of the Integrated Services Centre for the Al-Lubban neighbourhood project in Halban has been announced and will be under the supervision of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.
This marks a key milestone in the national initiative for integrated residential neighbourhoods, aligning with Oman Vision 2040’s goal of providing suitable housing options to enhance family stability. The centre will receive reservation requests for residential units and offer support to beneficiaries, investors, and recipients of government land grants.
The centre is designed to streamline the process for beneficiaries by providing comprehensive services, from showcasing available housing options to assisting with unit reservations, selecting financing and payment methods, and facilitating procedures with relevant government agencies. Specialists in marketing, sales, customer service, and process facilitation will ensure a smooth and enriched experience for all beneficiaries.
To further enhance the customer experience, the sales centre will feature project models, brochures, and multimedia displays, including large screen videos, allowing potential buyers to gain a deeper understanding of the project. Beneficiaries can also monitor project progress via live broadcasts and on-site field tours.
The Al-Lubban District, an integrated residential community, occupies a prime location between Muscat and South Al Batinah Governorates. Spanning 646,541 square meters, it offers convenient access to key facilities in both regions. The district comprises 1,442 residential units, including a variety of housing options such as apartments and villas, distributed across three sub-districts: Al Hojri, Al Najdi, and Al Haski. At the heart of the district is a large mosque accommodating over 1,000 worshippers, accessible by foot from any residential unit.
Surrounded by essential services such as parks, recreational areas, swimming pools, and tree-lined pathways, the district promotes an active lifestyle and easy access to all amenities.
Supporting local businesses and empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs), several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) have been signed for the project’s first phase. These include electricity connection works with Khat Al-Amal Trading Company, road construction with Nesr Hormuz Company, protection and sidewalk works with Ramal Al-Duqm Company, and technical labor provision with Nujum North Al-Batinah Company.
The project is being developed by Al Badi Investment Group, a national company with extensive experience in construction, contracting, and real estate development since 1976. The group is committed to enhancing the work environment, promoting e-management, and supporting Omanisation programmes. Its track record includes successful partnerships with key government entities such as the Ministry of Defense, Diwan of Royal Court, Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, and Ministry of Health, among others.
