Muscat: The sixth week of the Omantel League football begins on Tuesday with two matches. In the first game, Ibri host Al Nasr, with Ibri aiming to get back to winning ways after a draw in the last round, leaving them in ninth place with four points. On the other hand, Al Nasr sit in fourth place with seven points and is looking for their third win of the season.
In the second match, Al Shabab face Al Rustaq at the Al Rustaq Complex. Al Shabab is aiming for their first victory after five winless rounds, currently positioned in 11th place with just one point. Meanwhile, Al Rustaq, who are in eighth place with four points, hope to improve their standing and secure their second league win after a draw in the previous round.
The sixth week's matches continue on Wednesday, as Saham host Seeb at the Sohar Sports Complex. Saham enter the game in fifth place with six points, having won two of the previous rounds, while Seeb, leading the league with 15 points, seek to secure their sixth win and pull ahead of Al Nahda, who share the same points.
Wednesday will also feature a match between Al Khabourah and Al Nahda at the Rustaq Sports Complex. Al Khabourah enter the game in sixth place with six points after two consecutive losses since the league resumed, while Al Nahda aim to continue their winning streak and challenge Seeb for the top spot.
The week's matches conclude on Thursday with two encounters. In the first match, Sohar visit Bahla at the Ibri Sports Complex. Bahla are searching for their first points in the league, while Sohar, seventh with five points, are looking for their second win after a series of mixed results.
The final match of the sixth week is a much-anticipated clash between Oman Club and hosts Sur at the Sur Sports Complex. Oman Club enter the match in third place with 13 points, aiming to secure all three points, while Sur, 10th with just one point, hope to claim their first win of the season.
