MUSCAT - The Governor of Musandam, Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said al Busaidi, announced the third edition of Musandam Winter (Qitaf Musandam) on Thursday.
The Musandam Winter season officially kickstarts in November and will continue till April next year.
Celebrating the unique beauty and culture of Oman’s northernmost peninsula, this edition of Musandam Winter promises to be bigger and better than ever before, showcasing Musandam’s breathtaking landscape, rich heritage, and a variety of exciting activities. The elite gathering at the W Hotel drew a distinguished audience, with senior officials from various ministries and government organizations in attendance, including ministers, undersecretaries, and business leaders.
The Governor of Musandam signed a series of agreements with multiple organizations and companies, officially kick-starting the preparation for this year’s festival. These partnerships are aimed at bolstering the region’s visibility on both a national and global scale, positioning Musandam as a premier tourist destination.
One of the key highlights of the event was the signing of a raft of agreements with some of Oman’s leading entities and companies, namely, the Chamber Of Commerce & Industry Musandam Governorate, Riyada, Oman Football Association, OQ EP, Omran Group, Nama Group, Omantel, Vodafone, Oman Development Bank, Gate 10, MAS Ventures, Hala FM, and Mubashir.
These agreements underscore the critical role that public-private partnerships play in elevating Musandam’s profile as a tourist destination. By partnering with the festival, companies have the opportunity to contribute to the promotion of Musandam’s tourism potential, while also gaining visibility and access to a global audience.
The Governor emphasized the importance of marketing and promotional campaigns to showcase Musandam’s unique offerings. To amplify Musandam’s presence on the global stage, a variety of sponsorship options have been made available for companies interested in supporting the season. The sponsorships for Qitaf Musandam are designed to offer businesses a high return on investment (RoI) while aligning their brands with Musandam’s growing appeal.
