Muscat: In a significant gathering aimed at shaping the future of golf in Oman, the Oman Golf Association (OGA) convened its board meeting on Thursday at the newly established OGA office. The session was presided over by His Highness Azzan Al Said,OGA Chairman, who emphasized the importance of strategic planning in promoting the sport across the Sultanate of Oman.
The meeting focused on a comprehensive review of the last 90 days, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement. Board members presented a detailed analysis of recent tournaments, community engagement initiatives and youth development programs that have been instrumental in fostering a love for golf among Oman’s younger generations.
"Over the past few months, we have made significant strides in enhancing the visibility of golf in Oman," said HH Azzan Al Said.
"Our commitment to developing local talent and hosting international events is unwavering and we must continue to build on this momentum."
