RUSTAQ: Represented by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs (MoARA), the Sultanate of Oman celebrated the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday for the Hijri year 1446 AH in the Wilayat of Al Rustaq, Al Batinah South Governorate.
The celebration included a reading of “Al Mawlid”, narrating Prophet Muhammad’s life story, along with a duo chant in his praise, performed by Ahmed bin Rashid al Dhiyabi and Ammar bin Darwish al Fouri.
Enhanced by Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques, the celebration highlighted the noble morals of the Messenger of Allah, commending his compassion, mercy and commiseration with the Weak, his heartfelt affection for his nation and his personal care for the members of the community.
The AI-presentation portrayed many examples of Islamic ethics that were inspired by the memory of the Prophet, seen in the characters of maritime Captain Ambassador Ahmed bin Al Numan al Kaabi, Shaikh Judge and Writer Issa bin Saleh al Ta’ee and His Eminence Shaikh Ibrahim bin Said al Abri, former Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman.
The festivity also included the screening of a film titled “Muhammad” featuring the Prophet’s message which conveyed to the whole mankind an integrated approach that guarantees the dignity of every human being.
Many influential community leaders took part in the ceremony, which also saw the reciting of related poems.
